Heroes

Who is a hero?
He or she is someone just like you and me that never planed to be a hero, but at some point life presented this person with a challenge, a choice. The hero had to rise above his circumstances, usually for the sake of others and almost always at the cost of personal sacrifice.
Perhaps the most remarkable thing about heroes is that they don't think they have done anything special. They would be very surprised to learn that they are heroes.
This year Israel turns 60. I would like to introduce you to a few of the heroes that I know personally. They aren't important people, but they are the ones that give me hope that this country will see 61.
